As of today (26th April) Scotland begins to welcome visitors. We will be opening our doors on 28th May and we look forward to welcoming all future guests to Applegarth from then.
The imminent birth of Kirsteen’s first grandchild (tomorrow 27th April!) and his first two weeks of life being at Applegarth, is putting Applegarth Bed and Breakfast on hold! In line with government requirements, we will be taking all measures to ensure the safety of our guests.
This will mean having full contact details beforehand to comply with Track and Trace. The house will of course be cleaned to the highest possible standard. On arrival, we will be greeting arrivals wearing masks and will ask guests to do the same.
We are then obliged to take guests temperatures. A hand sanitiser is in the porch. There are also hand disinfectants and sanitisers in bathrooms and loos. We will wear masks when waiting at the table but that is not required of guests once seated.
Masks need not be worn when outside. We also ask you to keep a 2 meter distance. We very much hope these necessary steps towards normality will not impinge enjoyment of anyone who stays at Applegarth.
Please come and stay!
